*1 The P5122 probe cannot be used for AC coupling measurement of signals with DC bias exceeding 300 V on TPS2000 series oscilloscopes. The P5150 probe is recommended when measuring ripple of high-voltage DC power supplies.

P5100A High-Voltage Probe

P5100A is a 2.5 kV high-voltage probe with low input capacitance for high-frequency applications. After probe compensation, it can be used with plug-ins and oscilloscopes with a nominal input capacitance of 7-30 pF. A variety of screw-on accessories allow convenient connection to devices under test.

TPP0850 High Voltage Probe

TPP0850

TPP0850 is an 800 MHz ultra-high bandwidth probe for high-voltage signals up to 2500 Vp-p. This bandwidth is ideal for testing power semiconductors and switching power supplies. As switching speeds are increased to minimize power losses, probes with faster rise time, higher bandwidth and higher voltage rating are required. TPP0850 meets this need and can be used with transistor switching circuits operating at up to 1200 VRMS , which exceeds the operating voltage range of standard general-purpose probes. It is also suitable for emerging power applications that require faster rise time.

Applications of P5150 and P5122 IsolatedChannel™

In many applications, it is extremely important to isolate measurements from ground and isolate common voltage between channels. When used with TPS2000 and THS3000 series digital storage oscilloscopes, P5150 or P5122 achieves not only isolation between measurement and ground, but also complete isolation between channels. The P5150 probe is recommended for measuring ripple of high-voltage DC power supplies. The P5122 probe shall not be used for AC-coupled measurement of signals with DC bias exceeding 300 V on TPS2000 series oscilloscopes.

P6015A High Voltage Probe

For high-capacity, high-performance voltage measurement above 2.5 kV, the P6015A has become the industry standard. It can measure DC voltage up to 20 kVRMS  and pulse voltage up to 40 kV (peak value, 100 ms pulse width). Its 75 MHz bandwidth allows you to capture fast high-voltage signals.

The P6015A uses environmentally friendly silicon dielectric, so no refilling is required. Additional features include a compensation range of 7-49 pF, a compact compensation box for adjacent amplifier inputs, and a probe readout compatible with most Tektronix digital oscilloscopes. When using the probe readout, the displayed voltage amplitude is the actual signal value, no conversion by a factor of 1000 is required.

Note: Using a front panel version not intended for Tektronix digital oscilloscopes may cause front panel display errors.
