*1 P5122 probe cannot be used on TPS2000 series oscilloscopes for AC coupling measurement of signals with DC bias exceeding 300 V. When measuring ripple of high-voltage DC power supplies, P5150 probe is recommended.
P5100A High-Voltage Probe
P5100A is a (2.5 kV) high-voltage probe for high-frequency applications with low input capacitance. After probe compensation, it can be used with plugins and oscilloscopes that have a nominal input capacitance of 7-30 pF. A variety of screw-on accessories enable convenient connection to devices under test.
TPP0850 High Voltage Probe

TPP0850
The TPP0850 provides ultra-high 800 MHz bandwidth for high voltage signals up to 2500 Vp-p. This is the ideal bandwidth for testing power semiconductors and switching power supplies, where minimizing power loss by increasing switching speed requires probes with faster rise time, higher bandwidth and higher voltage rating. The TPP0850 meets this requirement and can be used with transistor switching circuits operating at up to 1200 VRMS , which exceeds the operating voltage range of standard general-purpose probes. It is also suitable for emerging power applications that require faster rise time.
P5150 and P5122 IsolatedChannel™ Applications
In many applications, it is critical to isolate measurements from ground and isolate common voltage between channels. When used with TPS2000 and THS3000 Series Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, the P5150 or P5122 provides isolation between measurements and ground, as well as complete isolation between channels. The P5150 probe is recommended for measuring ripple of high-voltage DC power supplies. The P5122 probe cannot be used for AC-coupled measurements of signals with DC bias exceeding 300 V on TPS2000 Series oscilloscopes.
P6015A High Voltage Probe
For high-performance voltage measurement above 2.5 kV, the P6015A has become an industry standard. It can measure DC voltage up to 20 kVRMS and pulse voltage up to 40 kV (peak value, 100 ms pulse width). Its 75 MHz bandwidth allows you to capture fast high-voltage signals.
The P6015A uses environmentally friendly silicone dielectric and does not require refilling. Additional features include: a compensation range of 7-49 pF, a compact compensation box suitable for adjacent amplifier inputs, and a readout head compatible with most Tektronix digital oscilloscopes. When using the readout head, the displayed voltage amplitude is the actual signal value, and no conversion by the factor of 1000 is required.
Note: Using a probe head version not compatible with Tektronix digital oscilloscopes may cause incorrect probe head display.
