Introduction
TH283X series is a new generation of low-cost, high-performance compact LCR digital bridge. Adopting the latest technology and high-density circuit design, it concentrates the core advantages of large LCR testers into a compact and small body. It eliminates the traditional mechanical power switch and adopts software-controlled power switch. Its 0.05% basic accuracy and excellent test stability are comparable to high-end models. Equipped with a 4.3-inch LCD display and a newly upgraded interface system, it is elegant in appearance and easy to operate. The instrument provides abundant interfaces, is compatible with standard SCPI commands, can be easily integrated into various test systems, and meets various needs in inspection, production and scientific research.

A. High performance, small size (supports simultaneous test of DC resistance RDC)Features

4.3-inch large LCD display can simultaneously display setting parameters and test results (it can test and display DC resistance RDC), and the function keys corresponding to display functions enable faster operation. The instrument also provides Measurement Display 2 function, which is convenient for users to quickly sort, set test items and display results.
B. Empty Fixture Judgment
This function helps users troubleshoot poor contact or short circuit of the test fixture. When this function is enabled, the instrument automatically takes 0.05 times the nominal value on the limit setting page as the lower limit, and 100 times the nominal value as the upper limit. Any value beyond this range is considered as open circuit or short circuit of the fixture, and the instrument willstop outputting the sorting result signal of HANDLER to prevent output of incorrect judgment results.
C. Smart Zero Function
TH2830 series provides two calibration methods. One is to perform open circuit and short circuit calibration for all frequency points using the insertion method. The other is to perform open circuit, short circuit and load calibration for the currently set frequency point. Up to 201 calibration points are available.
D. Multi-point List Test
The list sweep function enables automatic sweep testing for up to 201 points of test frequency, test level or DC bias. With this function, users can quickly and clearly obtain the characteristic change trend of the device under test, and judge the suitability of the device under test in practical applications.
E. Convenient and Fast Bin Sorting Testing Function
TH2830 features a built-in comparison function that can sort tested components into up to 10 bins (BIN1 to BIN9 and BIN OUT). It supports setting 9 pairs of main parameter limits and 1 pair of secondary parameter limit. The result can be displayed intuitively and clearly on the interface via bin number or counting, and the device also provides audible and visual alarm function.
F. Rich Interface Functions
The TH2830 Series tester provides users with a Handler interface, which is mainly used for output of the instrument's sorting results. When the instrument is applied in the automatic component sorting test system, this interface provides contact signals with the system and output signals of sorting results. The tester also provides users with RS232C, USB DEVICE, GPIB (optional) interfaces for remote data communication. These interfaces meet the requirements of automation applications in the current market.
